The 189 member staff at SCEH are:

• 11 ophthalmologists, including 1 VitreoRetinal specialist
• 1 medical officer
• 10 administrative staff
• 20 ophthalmic assistants
• 2 ophthalmic assistant trainees
• 58 eye health workers
• 27 eye health worker trainees
• 60 others (watchmen & security guards, maintenance helpers, gardener, drivers, sweepers, peons etc.)
  

These figures include 49 staff working at BEH.

All staff members, aside from the doctors, are locals and have been trained at SCEH, Lahan or BEH.
